Teamwork Training for 130 Leaders responsible for the oversight of over 5000 churches
Adventures of Training for Healthy Teams
Ugandan leaders have felt the same perplexity when it comes to working with teams, as Alice in the Adventures in Wonderland found in one scene: As Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree she asked “Which road do I take? The cat responded, “Where do you want to go? Alice, “I don’t know, ….”Then”, said the cat, “it doesn’t matter which road you take.” Many leaders expressed a similar confusion of seeing Ugandan needs rapidly changing but uncertain which road to take at the fork. They weren’t even clear where they wanted to go or even how to identify the starting point in meeting these changing needs. It isn’t that they are not deeply committed to building healthy teams, because they are!  What they lack is training in how to even start the process.
Student processing how to develop goals and objectives
The training showed what fork in the road to take when you need to work on yourself as the leader of the team; when you need to work with different personalities and when you need to form effective teams. When I finished, Dr. David a Bishop and chairman of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) stood up and stated, “I have been under a lot of training and education over the years but this was the most insightful and relevant teaching to Ugandan leaders I have ever attended.”
Female student realizing her uniqueness as a leader and personal passion for the first time started to cry.
I am slowly getting feedback as the participants as they start to apply the knowledge. One leader stated, ” I finally know how to manage different personalities on the team in a way that brings out the best in everyone.” Another staff member stated, “I finally know how to give healthy feedback that brings good communication.”
Teaching the strength diversity brings to a team
The Responsibility to Turn Young Minds into Future Leaders is……Huge!
Will you please pray for me as I continue to develop an educational program that will launch these young minds into leaders who can tell the next generation. “I fought for you. I did not live my Christian life merely for myself. I personally made changes as a leader as well as in developing teams with the motive to be counted among those who belong to God!”

Please pray for the accreditation of the college. Their is a document that must be signed by a government official in order for the license to be given. The government official isn’t in favor of the college or of PAG so she is refusing to sign.

Please pray for my continued recovery from the parasite infection

Thank you for your partnership!
